at the right time

How does a MedsCheck work?
Many people often find themselves on multiple medications to manage multiple conditions. Every year in
Australian over 200,000 people are admitted to hospitals due to medication problems. At least half of these
admissions could be avoided through better medication management.
A MedsCheck offers one-on-one time with one of our friendly pharmacists ,in our private consulting rooms, and
takes about 20-30 minutes. After the meeting our pharmacist will:
• produce a printed summary of all your regular medicines, including any over-the-counter or natural medicines
• produce a documented “Action Plan” that will help ensure you are taking the right medicine at the right time
• ensure that all your questions about your medicine have been answered
A MedsCheck is a FREE service that can help improve your understanding and confidence in all aspects of your
medication. This will help you get the most out of your medication and avoid an unnecessary trip to the hospital.
If you are taking 5 or more medications contact us today for your FREE MedsCheck.
If you are on less than 5 medications please still feel free to come and chat to our pharmacists about any of your
health queries or questions about your medicine.
