We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispensary Technician to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
Maintain an organized and clean dispensary area, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Prepare medication orders and maintain appropriate stock levels
Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and receiving pharmaceutical products
Provide outstanding customer service, offering professional advice and guidance to customers
Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow and ensure smooth operations
Demonstrate knowledge of medications, their uses, potential side effects, and drug interactions
Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards
Contribute to the ongoing professional development and training of pharmacy support staff
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Dispensary Technician in a community pharmacy setting
Accredited Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent qualification (Certificate 3 or 4 in Community Pharmacy
Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, their proper handling, storage, and dispensing procedures
Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and dispensing software
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient confidentiality
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as required
